Why Does Government Allow Mycotoxins & Contaminants in Our Food?

Feb. 12, 2016 – Our government sets limits on the amount of contaminants ‘mycotoxins’ they believe are ‘acceptable’ in grains and in animal feed. But one would first need to know, What is a mycotoxin? Here’s the short answer. According to National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), “Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by microfungi that are capable of causing disease and death in humans and other animals.” But what is not told, is these toxins are transferred to animals that consume them, and in turn become part of the food chain. It is deplorable that there are ‘acceptable’ levels and our government not only knows–but condones it. To make matters worse, add GMO’s and Herbicides to the mix and now we have a real toxic medley. And of course, we now know that the World Health Organization (WHO) states that glyphosate, the key ingredient in the herbicide called RoundUp by Monsanto was named by the WHO as probably ‘carcinogenic’ in humans. But why does no one know? Because industry and government don’t want you to know. To learn more about how government helps industry put Profits over People, allowing mycotoxins and other toxic substances in our food, seeToxic Food-Toxic Metals: What We Don’t Know Might Kill US!‘, and to learn more about the toxicity of ‘glyphosate’ used in Monsanto’s herbicide RoundUp, watch The New Food Order: How Glyphosate, Herbicides are Shaping Our Future-and What the Food Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know!’ only on The Legal Edition!
